Elisa Palomino’s stunning autumn/winter 2011 line draws inspiration from Japanese geisha Sada Yacco who influenced the Impressionist painters in Paris during the last century. The garments featured sparrows and floral elements including wisteria and irises. The collection included richly embellished leather, suede, and wool garments. Sensual, diaphanous dresses made of silk and chiffon were mixed with knits and jackets. Lovely embroidered pieces and fur were tastefully added, and elaborate plum-blossom headpieces were a unique finishing touch to the distinctive silhouette. Elisa has delivered yet another inspired and remarkable collection which is both daring and dreamy.
