Mackage Fall 2010
Canadian outerwear designers Elisa Dahan and Eran Elfassy for Mackage presented their Fall/Winter 2010 collection with an edgy upbeat feel. Their detailed line included mens and womenswear in neutral colors of black, brown, camel, grey and white. Known for their slim fitted designs, lots of exaggerated shoulder details were presented.
Their sharp collection included leather studded top with shorts, pencil skirts, wrap style dresses, checked dresses, skirts and skinny pants. The outerwear ranged from leather jackets, wool coats to herringbone peacoats and warm down coats with fur lined hoods.
43 different pieces were presented with a twiggy look-low ponytail swept on one side with side swept bangs and smoky eyes. Black was a dominant color in their collection alongside a variety of leather and sequin details. Accessories included leather gloves, studded and leather corset belts.

Richard Chai Fall 2010
Richard Chai Love consisted of lazy boyfriend silhouettes, cool lightweight silks topped with oversized sweaters and long asymmetrical layers which were reminiscent of early nineties grunge. Some key pieces including effortless tees and knit paper bag skirts, layered over wool ribbed leggings and long sheer ribbed tube dresses looked so chic and very downtown apathetic. The icy grey tones and neutrals graduated in distressed pewter sequin pieces, like a pajama pant and embroidered waistcoats. If the Fall/Winter 2010 season is as cold as this winter, the Richard Chai Love girl will for sure be very warm and cozy, and undoubtedly stylish.

BCBG Max Azria Fall 2010
For Fall/Winter 2010, BCBGMAXAZRIA presented a sophisticated and feminine collection. Neutral tones were the dominating color in this season’s palette. Colorblocked with vibrant touches of yellow and blue, together with classic shades of black, grey and navy, they created clean geometric silhouettes. Leather piping and trimming details added to the geometric aesthetic. Prints were simple and graphic inspired in muted colors. Embellishments were also minimal. Some sequins and studs appeared to be painted on in brush strokes onto cropped tops and dresses. The main theme was the asymmetrical draping of flowing silk dresses and tops which were then layered and/or belted in almost every look. This collection is for a modern urban woman with a refined yet effortless style.

Duckie Brown Fall 2010
A dashingly dapper mishmash of various tartans, plaids, and tweeds, in red, yellow, black and gray paraded down the runway at the packed Fall/Winter 2010 Duckie Brown show. Almost every model wore a pair of fingerless alpaca gloves. Lean silhouettes of cropped narrow trousers and long plaid jackets paired with clunky boots, exposed socks and oversized bright bomber jackets gave a modern street edge to the 80s rude boy influences. The collection overall was very upbeat and geared towards the man, or boy, who dresses to make a statement.
